Amazing People

alright. so, i live about twenty minutes away from the orland park mall, where they were having the twilight tour for the chicago area. i've been going up there the past week, talking to managers and everyone, to make SURE that they were selling the wrist bands at seven thirty in the morning like everyone said.
apparently, according to the news, you had to be selected to know that the actual tickets went on sale at midnight. and i did talk to many people who were there at midnight, and they agreed: they sold the tickets then.
who knows if it was to get them off the property, or what, but i still believe it should of been fair game. i mean more power to ya if you can wait that long for him and camp out. congrats. but it should have been fair for everyone. because people that were there at three thirty in the morning were told this and we thought it was the same scam as san fran.
(apparently with that, they told everyone it was canceled so not everyone showed up)
along on that note, if we were caught outside on the lot or waiting in the mall we were being arrested on the spot. we weren't allowed in the mall until seven thirty. wait - not we. people who had their tickets. we (meaning us who didn't purchase them) weren't allowed in period. you had to wait for the questions and answers.
the only thing we got to compensate for our loss of not getting tickets was a ten percent off coupon valid for only today.
i left at seven twenty. after waiting for hours to hear this? i was beyond pissed.
but, if they are doing this - isn't that false advertisement? i believe that there are laws against it. now i'm not saying go out and sue.. but it's definitely a disappointment to all twilighters that, if these are true, they would do this to us.
all i wanted was an equal opportunity chance to go meet him.
if these acqusations against the orland park hot topic are true... who knows what a few of us will do.
